Welcome

Founded in 2001 at the Medical Department of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, the INM was the first university institute in Germany with a focus on emergency medicine and management in medicine.  The institute’s aim is to optimize processes and quality in emergency medicine by means of

• scientific research addressing interventions, processes and structural developments in emergency medicine,
• systematic training and quality management for professionals in emergency medicine,
• services in managerial consulting for the medical sector as well as
• (big) data based evaluations of preclinical and clinical emergencies, logistics and infrastructure.
